October 30th, 2025 Our community outreach team organized a STEM workshop at Deerwood Elementary this past October. Our team of volunteers, composed of not only members of our project team but also other interested students at Georgia Tech, drove to Deerwood Elementary to introduce 5th graders to principles of civil engineering through a fun, hands-on activity. October 31st, 2025 This Halloween, our project team celebrated by organizing a fundraiser, Quesadillas for a Cause, at Georgia Tech! Members across all of our subteams volunteered on Halloween night to make and sell quesadillas to raise money to build a greenhouse for Deerwood Academy. Thanks to our amazing team of volunteers, we were able to raise $1,190! We are extremely proud of the amount we were able to raise, but we still have a long way to go! If you are interested in
